YouTube’s $100M Creator Fund for a Shorts Video Feature

Youtube, aiming to court more content creators and influencers, announced a $100 million fund to pay content creators who make hit videos on its latest short-form video feature Shorts.

The fund will launch soon and will pay creators this year and 2022. This investment comes as platforms continue to attract young creators who are attracting significant followings and big earning potential by filming short comedy skits and dance routines.
