Important Notice: Centi Franc (CCHF) Discontinuation

Dear Centi Franc Customer,

We are writing to inform you of an important change regarding the Centi Franc (CCHF) token.

Discontinuation Notice

Effective immediately, the Centi Franc will no longer be sold or distributed. The token will be officially discontinued by the end of August 2025.

Why We’re Making This Change

When we launched the Centi Franc, there was a clear need for a stable, micropayment-capable token that allowed users to transact without paying on-chain fees in native cryptocurrency. Today, the digital payments landscape has evolved significantly.

Other performant infrastructure stablecoins are now available that meet our infrastructure needs, including:

• Frankencoin (frankencoin.com)
• USDC and other internationally established stablecoins

As Centi focuses on payments innovation, we’re adapting our infrastructure and services to leverage these proven solutions.

What You Need to Do – Action Required

Please use your Centi Franc tokens for payment of products and services until August 20th or exchange your Centi Franc tokens for Frankencoin or a bank payment before August 31, 2025.

For amounts up to 1,000 CHF:

1. Check your balance: Open your Centi App and verify if you hold any Centi Franc tokens
2. Initiate exchange: Create an exchange request for Frankencoin (ZCHF) topup or a banking payout, providing your complete banking information.
3. Payment Method: Select “Centi Franc” as your payment method
4. Confirm and pay: Complete the transaction
5. Receive payment: You should receive your payout within 1-2 business days

For amounts over 1,000 CHF:

Please contact us directly at support@centi.ch so we can assist you with a personalized redemption process.

Timeline Summary

• Now – August 20th, 2025: Centi Franc acceptance for products and services remains.
• Now – August 31, 2025: Redemption period with full bank guarantee protection remains.
